THE SPROUTER DUO is a very versatile container enabling you to make homemade tofu and sprouts more quickly and easier than ever. It can be used for sprouting, tofu-making and soaking. You can even use it as a strainer or storage dish. It is compact, light and very resistant. It is perfect for kids, camping or those who travel often and want to enjoy the benefits of living food
Place the containers one in the other, put in the seeds and add a lot of water for the first soaking. After the required period, empty the water and put the containers back together. Rinse every morning and evening, shake and put back in the second container. Results will be surprising. During sprouting, leave the container on the kitchen counter with the slotted lid on. No need to cover it because it's opaque. Seeds will have enough oxygen to grow. Since they need light, they will grow up to the lid and you will get nice sprouts. You can sprout all sorts of seeds: grain, cereal and legume. These sprouting are always fresh; they preserve much longer and are less expansive than those found at the store.
Diversify the seeds to get more nutritious value. You can make interesting mixes with seeds that need the same soaking period. Use them in salads, sandwiches, wraps, as a snack or in drinks. It's nutritious and delicious. Sprouts are know to be the most perfect foods because they contain a large amount of amino acids (the protein's essential component). Sprouted beans have an extraordinarily high level of proteins. Products of germination are living food. They constitute the natural sources of the vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids (digestible proteins) in making them one of the most concentrated sources there is. They furnish an abundance of enzymes. One more reason why we should consume them daily: one could say that for the same weight, sprouted beans contain more protein then red meat. They are more digestible, and they don't have the fat, the cholesterol, the hormones or antibiotics found in animal byproducts today.
Sprouting occurs when seeds, cereals, legume or nuts are soaked in water for a period of time. In regaining life through germination the seed increase in nutritional value and digestibility. The enzyme's inhibitors, the phytates (natural insecticides) and the oxalates (protective screen which blocks the penetration of oxygen) present in all types of seeds nuts, beans and cereals are eliminated so that predigestion can begin. During this stage of predigestion the starches are transformed into simple sugars, the proteins are degraded in amino acids, fat is converted in soluble fatty acid and therefore vitamins are created.
Once that we realize the importance of consuming sprouts regularly, what could be easier than to do it ourselves with the Passion-Sante SPROUTER. All we need are seeds, water, oxygen and light. It's that simple.
The cotton bag can also be used as a nut milk bag.
