The Kempo juicer by Greenpower is the newest and best from Mr. Kim, the inventor of the twin gear extraction process and the highly regarded "Green Power & Green Life" juicers. The Kempo model GPT-E1303 is the latest in the lineage of Green Power twin gear juicers that was introduced to the market in 2002. This model is an excellent living juicer/food processor and has finally brought twin gear juicers to the forefront of juicing technology. The new design was introduced to make a smaller, easier to clean, more efficient as well as more affordable twin gear juicer.

Low RPMs

The Kempo GPT E1303 is a revolutionary design that incorporates a twin gear press system that rotates at a very low 160 Rpm's,  generating little to no heat.   This prevents the destruction of the valuable nutrients and enzymes in the fruits and vegetables being juiced, and guarantees a high quality juice that is virtually foam free.

Not Just a Juicer

The Kempo juicer is not limited to just regular juicing.  It comes with everything you need to enjoy a variety of other living foods such as nut butters, frozen fruit sorbets & ice cream, baby foods, soy bean dishes, jams and purees; you can even mince garlic and herbs and much more! 

Magnetic Technology 

This magnetic process extracts a greater amount of mineral nutrients from the produce by helping to add more positive ions and vitality and longevity to minerals in the juice.  Using Bio-ceramic technology we are able to increase absorption into the bloodstream by reducing the surface tension of the juice.  This technology also delays oxidation of the juice.  Please note that juice should still ideally be consumed soon after being made for maximum value.

Magnetic Juice Bowl

Magnets are located at the base of the juice bowl.  The magnetic effect is to delay oxidation and to therefore keep the juice fresher for a longer period of time.

Easy to Clean, Assemble/Disassemble

The smaller unit makes it more compact, taking up less room on your kitchen counter and making it much easier to fit the parts in the sink to clean.  The Kempo  is 3/4 the weight of other twin gear machines (13.6lbs / 6.2kg) as opposed to the Greenstar which is 20.9lb /  9.5kg and the Twinhealth at 24lbs / 10.9kg.  Proving that bigger is not always better. It also has fewer parts, making it much easier to assemble and disassemble.  We all know that if its quick and easy there is a far greater chance that we will use it more often.

Automatic Safety Override

A thermal protection device and a safety fuse prevents you from overheating the machine.  In case of a blockage, the machine automatically shuts itself off to prevent any potential damage to the engine.  This is why in over 15 years of selling green power machines we have never seen an engine problem.

Stainless Steel Jang Gears Mesh Closer

Now closer than any other twin gear juicer at only 4/1000 of an inch separation.  Older Greenstar model is 7/1000.  This is significant as the more we can crush the cell wall, the more it opens, releasing more enzymes and nutrients into your juice.  This method of extraction has been shown to separate out 70% of toxic pesticides and heavy metals from produce.

Pulp Outlet Pressure control system allows you complete control of the pressure inside your machine in a smaller more efficient design from the inventor of the twin gear juicer.  Essentially this knob lets you apply different amounts of pressure depending on what you are juicing.  For example, you would want more pressure for fiber dense foods like wheatgrass and less pressure for fruits.  With this system you can easily change the pressure without stopping your machine.

New Release Lever  incorporated on this model is a  stainless steel locking mechanism that provides  greater strength than the plastic screw and latching arms found on older twin gear juicers.  This is a significant improvement over the previous Kempo KP-E1304 model.

Please note this is the same juicer as the Hippocrates juicer. They are both made by the same factory, but just branded differently. Please also take note that you may see some websites claiming that the Kempo GPT E1303 has been discontinued and been replaced by the newer Greenpower model 1304. This is not the case, the Kempo GPT E1303 is still available and the model 1304 is simply a new release of an old model. We will not be stocking the 1304 juicer because we believe it to be of a lower quality.
